Briquetting and Granulation

BRIQUETTING WITH A ROLLER-PRESS:
Process operating on raw material fines with or without the addition of a binder in order to produce ovoid or pillow-square shaped briquettes. The press includes two moulding rolls turning in opposite direction like a rolling-mill with a gravity or a force-feeding system. One of the two rolls is subject to a variable briquetting force that can be adjusted according to the processed raw material.

Compactors
Compactors are used to produce flakes or briquettes to be crushed in a dedicated equipment to produce granules. Size of final granules can be from 0.3 mm up to 10 mm according to the final applications.
Final granules size are chosen by the mesh from the screen, needed in the granulation line, to extract the good particle size.
